Earlier this week, Don Lemon was fired by CNN after 17 years at the US network.
The host was let go by the company following allegations Lemon had mistreated his female colleagues throughout his career with CNN.
Lemon announced the news himself on Twitter on Monday (24 April): "I am stunned. After 17 years at CNN I would have thought someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly," he wrote.

He continued: "At no time was I ever given any indication that I would not be able to continue to do the work I have loved at the network."
Lemon went on to claim that it was 'clear' that there were 'larger issues at play' when it came to his departure.
The announcement came as a bit of a shock to CNN viewers, but the network later hit back at claims made by their former anchor.

A tweet from the CNN public relations team read: "Don Lemon's statement about this morning's events is inaccurate.
"He was offered an opportunity to meet with management but instead released a statement on Twitter."
While that may have seemed like a rather messy divorce, Lemon already has a job offer on his hands thanks to rapper Rick Ross.
Possibly the strangest crossovers ever, right?

If Lemon was to take the job it would be quite the career change, as Ross has offered him a lifeline at one of his Wingstop restaurants. Watch his proposition below:
"Just found out Don Lemon was terminated from CNN. Damn, dawg," the rapper said in a video posted to his Instagram stories.
He continued: "But guess what? The brother’s got your back.

"We’re hiring at Wingstop, and for some reason, I believe you know what you doing with the lemon-pepper wings, so man, just send over your resume.
"I’mma make sure I get you in front of the right grill, brother. Stay solid, brother."
Not only does Lemon have a potential job offer on the table, Ross also touted the idea of partnering up with the former CNN host on one of his signature drinks.
Once again on his Instagram stories, Ross said: "Just came up with a wonderful idea — well, really, Don, you helped me come up with this.

"I need to hit the team over at Rap Star Energy Drink and let ’em know we should introduce the Don Lemon flavour. What y’all think? Aye, Don, we got you brother!"
Though it is a nice gesture from Ross, you'd suspect it wouldn't be Lemon's first choice when it comes to a new job.
