Chris Hemsworth's Extraction 2 has delivered a whole lot of action and intensity, but it's also given viewers a good laugh thanks to an unfortunate plot hole.
Here's the moment below - see what you reckon:
Hemsworth's Tyler Rake is back in the sequel to his 2020 action-thriller, and after just about managing to overcome his wounds from the last mission, he and his team are ready for their next challenge.

This time Rake is faced with the task of 'saving the imprisoned family of a ruthless gangster', so as you can imagine, there are a lot of shootouts, explosions and even a physical fight on the edge of a moving train.
The movie arrived on Netflix on 16 June, and some weekend movie nights fans have come back with their reviews, which are largely positive.
One fan described it as an 'exceptional sequel' in a glowing post online, adding: "Building upon the success of its predecessor, this film delivers an adrenaline-fueled experience that leaves viewers on the edge of their seats from start to finish.

"With its captivating storyline, intense performances, and breathtaking action sequences, Extraction 2 is a true masterpiece that exceeds all expectations."
Get that on the poster.
Such reviews prove that the movie has it's strengths, but there is one plot hole that's hard to ignore once you know what it is.
The unfortunate blunder takes place as Hemsworth's character throws open the door of a vehicle, ready to face enemies who clearly have no concerns about ending a human life.

Rake is being ruthlessly targeted by guns on a helicopter, so naturally the fearless mercenary looks for cover.
The vehicle he's in looks to be stocked with storage boxes which might be a good choice, but instead, Rake opts for something a little less solid.
It's a ladder. He chooses a ladder. You know, those steps with massive gaps between each level? Gaps which are definitely large enough to let a bullet pass through?

Not the smartest choice, Rake.
And viewers were left cracking up after spotting his shield of choice, with one writing "I laughed so hard," while another joked: "Fun fact: The gaps between ladder rungs are bulletproof."
"This made me laugh on a Monday morning so thanks for that," wrote a third.
And a fourth described it as the 'new greatest scene ever'.

Rake's decision is definitely laughable, but to be fair to him, he did manage to survive the encounter and make it to the end of the film.
With a third instalment of the Extraction series now on the way, let's just hope luck stays on his side.
