Chris Hemsworth has worked with some of Hollywood’s finest over the years— from Anya Taylor-Joy to Robert Downey Jr., Miles Teller, and so many more.
But according to the Australian, there’s one actor whose sheer presence ‘intimated’ him beyond all others.
Hemsworth, 41, is currently gearing up for the release of his next flick, Crime 101, where he stars as Davis, a jewel thief.

The forthcoming film, directed by Bart Layton and based on the novella of the same name by Don Winslow, sees the actor teaming up with fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) alumni Mark Ruffalo, as well as Irish star Barry Keoghan and A Complete Unknown’s Monica Barbaro.
Crime 101, which is imminently set to land on Amazon Prime Video, also features an appearance from X-Men favorite, Halle Berry.

Berry, who has an Academy Award and a Golden Globe award under her belt, recently appeared at CinemaCon in Las Vegas to promote the new movie.

While speaking to the press, she described her co-star Hemsworth as a real ‘stand-up guy’.
"I won't go into it now but he stood up for me in a moment in our movie, and instantly I knew right then I'm gonna follow this guy, be a fan of this guy for the rest of his life because he stood up for a woman,” she told E! News. "He didn't have to do it and he did it.”
Berry added that Hemsworth had quickly become one of her ‘new favorite people in the world’ after working on set together.
The father-of-three was also full of praise for Berry. However, he admitted he was ‘very intimated’ to finally be working with her.

"I've admired Halle's work for many, many years. I was obviously very intimidated to sit opposite her within a scene and try and, you know, not just be in awe of what she was doing,” he told E! News.

"Certain people just bring out not just the best in you, but also sort of a comfort level where it feels like it's a place to explore and it's a place to examine different ideas and try different things. And that was the experience [with Berry],”
"I loved every second of it.”

Interestingly, the encounter with the Catwoman actress isn’t the only celebrity that has left Hemsworth flustered recently.
During a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the Thor actor revealed he asked 23-year-old Billie Eilish for a selfie at the 2025 Oscars.
"I remember thinking, 'Ah, don't do it, don't do it,'” he recalled during the March 26 episode. "I was like, 'No, my kids are going to love this.' And then the moment I took it, I was like, 'I went from work colleague to now like a fan,'” he told Colbert.
"We will never be friends, never be best friends," Hemsworth added, jokingly.
