WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3
Pete Davidson has a cameo role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 which pretty much nobody watching the film will have noticed.
Audiences may be packing out cinemas to watch the third and likely final instalment in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but there's one actor who's in it that almost nobody recognised.
In fairness, that's because his character was entirely CGI and looked nothing like him, so even if you were expecting to see Pete Davidson in the Guardians movie you wouldn't have recognised him.

The comedian had a brief cameo role in the recently released film, which stacked up with the first two is having some fans say it's better than Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy (steady on there lads).
While some viewers are trying to figure out just what sort of easter eggs James Gunn has buried in his films others are happy to be along for the ride and might have been surprised if they caught Davidson's name in the credits.
Anyhow, if you saw Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 then you'll have seen Davidson, or rather heard him, and likely had no idea about it until the credits, which you surely sat through to see the post-credits scenes.

His cameo appearance came near the end of the film as the Guardians are rushing through the villainous High Evolutionary's (Chukwudi Iwuji) ship freeing his test subjects.
While most of those the big baddie has trapped on his ship are children he plans to be the perfect beings for his next attempt at creating an ideal civilization and evolved animals he's been experimenting on, Mantis (Pom Klementieff) discovers a caged creature.
Named Phlektik, the creature is a sort of blob-monster thing which isn't the nicest thing to look at, grossing out Mantis as he tries to thank her for freeing him.
While audiences wouldn't have known it at the time this CGI blob-monster was voiced by none other than Davidson in a cameo role for the movie.

It's not the first time he's worked with director James Gunn, who has a habit of bringing back actors he's worked with in the past.
Davidson played villain Blackguard in Gunn's 2021 DC movie The Suicide Squad, though his character didn't last all that long as he died just a few minutes into the movie after betraying the squad.
Nathan Fillion also makes an appearance in both movies, with audiences having seen him as The Detachable Kid in The Suicide Squad, while Daniela Melchior is also in the Guardians movie having played Ratcatcher 2 in Gunn's 2021 flick.

Fans reckon the new Guardians movie is the best Marvel film they've seen in years, even if it is a little bit traumatizing, and it's available to watch in cinemas now.
