Warning, contains spoilers for House of the Dragon
We might only be two episodes in to House of the Dragon, but already fans are convinced they know what's going to happen to one of the main characters.
King Viserys – portrayed by Paddy Considine – may be a good man in many ways, but his weakness is apparent.

And anyone who's seen Game of Thrones knows that this trait, teamed with the fact that he sits on the Iron Throne, doesn't spell a very bright future for the Westeros ruler.
The guy's had a tough time of it, having had to make the difficult decision of choosing his son and the heir to the throne's life over his wife Queen Aemma (Sian Brooke), only to lose them both.
Despite the hardship he's faced, there are plenty of reasons fans are convinced that his demise may not be too far off.

As said by one on Twitter, "My mans Viserys seems like a decent guy. bet he dies first. #HouseOfTheDragonHBO."
"Viserys is so weak. He’s gonna die soon," said another, while a third wrote, "Viserys gon die bro #HouseoftheDragon."
Others aren't too keen on his leadership style, not to mention the fact that he's decided to get together with his daughter's friend Alicent Hightower (Emily Carey).

As such, they're not only assuming the king is set to die soon, but they're hoping to see it unfold.
"I have 2 things to say about tonight’s episode," said a viewer. "Viserys is a horrible king. Giving off Rob Stark vibes. Definitely gonna die very soon."
They continued: "And I wanna see Otto Hightower’s head on a spike. #HouseoftheDragon." Charming.
A second chimed in: "I really hate Viserys bro, can’t wait till all them pr**ks from the throne catch up to his ass and he die."

The questions that remain are when and how? As suggested by Esquire, Viserys' death could result from the numerous wounds he keeps inflicting on himself while taking the Iron Throne.
While this might seem a little tame for the HBO franchise, the throne was purposely made with weapons to test the strength and capability of whoever sat on it.
So if Viserys were to die this way, it would be rather symbolic, don't you think?
But as we've learned from Game of Thrones, never underestimate the writers' creativity when it comes to death and gore.

There are a myriad of ways the king could die at this point, especially with so many dragons flying about.
