An incredible deepfake shows what it will look like when Liam Hemsworth steps into the role of Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher.
As the Aussie actor takes the reins from Henry Cavill, a talented artist by the name of stryder HD has created a deepfake of what the upcoming season could look like, which has left many fans stunned.
But don’t just take our word for it; watch the video below:
While many praised Stryder’s impressive skills, they also mourned Cavill’s departure from the show.

One user wrote: “Great video, but I'm passing on the new Witcher. Henry was the perfect fit. Not just looks but his dedication to the role and lore.”
Another said: “This looks good because although the face is deep faked, the mannerism and the voice of the character are still Henry Cavill's. No shade to Liam Hemsworth but I wonder how the same scenes would have looked with Liam's mannerism and gestures.”
While a third commented: “I couldn't wait for Season 4, but had no idea about Hemsworth taking the lead. We'll have to wait and see I suppose, but who's voice will be used? Not sure about this.”

Netflix confirmed earlier this month that The Witcher season four would see Hemsworth replace Cavill.
The Superman actor also confirmed the news via Instagram: “My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures, and alas, I will be laying down my medallion and my swords for Season four.
“In my stead, the fantastic Mr Liam Hemsworth will be taking up the mantle of the White Wolf. As with the greatest of literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam's take on this most fascinating and nuanced of men.”
However, many fans didn’t take too kindly to the shock announcement.
Some began to speculate that Cavill, an avid fan of the book series, clashed with the writers, who wanted to stray away from the source material, which prompted a Change.org petition.

The petition has reached almost 250,000 signatures so far.
It reads in part: "Let us show them [Netflix] in pure numbers (and thus lost money, because that’s all they really care about) that none of us Witcher fans will stand with them and will abandon the show (and potentially our subscriptions) after The Witcher season 3 is concluded."
He certainly has big shoes to fill.
