Heads up - this article contains major spoilers for John Wick: Chapter 4
Keanu Reeves has revealed the one condition he has for a fifth movie in the franchise.
Reeves has played the titular hitman in the popular franchise since the first movie was released back in 2014, and has reprised the role for three sequels. You can see a trailer for the most recent movie here:
The fourth movie received wide praise from both critics and audiences alike and currently holds an impressive 8.3 on IMDB.

Fans have speculated that the fourth movie will probably be the last in the franchise because - as you may remember - poor John didn’t look too healthy just before the credits rolled.
John Wick: Chapter 4, saw the hitman get involved in a duel to the death with The Marquis (Bill Skarsgård).
The Marquis agrees, but gets Caine (Donnie Yen) to take on Wick on his behalf.
The intense battle ends with Caine shooting Wick right in the gut and sending him to the ground with a thud.

When The Marquis re-appears, hoping to be the one who finishes Wick off once and for all, our hero shoots him in the head.
Although Wick does get to kill off The Marquis, things don’t look too rosy for him either.
The movie ends with Wick slumped over, looking very much like he may no longer be with us.

However, as we didn’t technically see Wick die on screen, there’s still a small chance that there could - one day - be a fifth movie.
And Reeves has revealed the one condition that would need to be met for him to be onboard.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Reeves said he’ll only consider a fifth helping if director Chad Stahelski was involved.

He said: “I don't know, I guess I'm going to have to lean on never say never. I mean, I wouldn't do a John Wick film without Chad Stahelski. We'd have to see what that looked like. For me, it feels really right that John Wick finds peace.”
Reeves also suggested that whether another John Wick movie is made or not largely depends on how fans react to the fourth.
“You have to see how the audience responds to what we did,” he said.
“The only reason we’ve had a chance to make these movies is that people have liked what we have done. So I think we have to wait and see how the audience responds to it.”

Well, the film prompted one movie-lover to brand it ‘one of the greatest action movies ever made’, so another instalment to the franchise may very well be on the cards.
