And a third said: "I thought From Scratch on Netflix was gonna be some easy, light, romcom watch and now I’m absolutely ruined on my couch sobbing over this love story that I also just found out is BASED ON A TRUE STORY."
Critics have also been touched by the new drama, with many praising From Scratch's adaption of a true story.
Meghan O'Keefe at the Decider said: "Zoe Saldana and Danielle Deadwyler elevate the material beyond being Hallmark Channel fluff... From Scratch is a dreamy, steamy, tearjerker that is the epitome of escapism."

TV Guide's review also praised the series, Maggie Fremont's said: "You can easily imagine a version of this story that dials up the emotional manipulation by hammering home the sadness without any type of catharsis, but From Scratch wisely never hesitates to cut the sadness with something funny or sweet or awkward."
And finally, Sherin Nicole's review for Geek Girl Riot read: "Protect your chest because your heart is about to get snatched."
Get those tissues ready because From Scratch is available to stream on Netflix right now.
