A Netflix series with a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score has left viewers hooked – and fans say that each season is better than the last.
It is such a common occurrence – you start a Netflix show and absolutely love season one, so you go, 'well now I have to watch the rest of this'.
So often, you’re met with disappointment as the show just doesn’t know how to take the story past a good first season.

That is not the case here.
The top review on IMDb, which gave it a 9/10 rating, said: “Good story, season 2 better than 1 and season 3 better than 2.”
Add to that a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, and an average score of 8.1 on IMDb (a score that places it on the same footing as bangers such as American Horror Story).

The premise is simple – a group of people are sent back from the future to prevent the end of the world.
Okay it’s maybe not THAT simple.
But it’s easy to see why people are hooked, as it features sci-fi shenanigans aplenty as visitors from the future project their consciousness into the past to try and avert disaster.
Check out the trailer here:
The show is called Travelers, and as I’ve said – fans are ‘hooked’.

The top review on IMDb went on to say: “Hooked about half way through episode 5 of season 1. Many sleepless nights followed…”
Another said: “Travelers not only met my expectations but surpassed them in every way. I know people like to throw the word ‘underrated’ around on so many shows and movies, but this show is the definition of underrated.”
This was backed up by posters from the Netflix Bangers Facebook group, with a viral post calling the show a ‘hidden gem’.

They posted: “Travelers is a hidden gem that blends time-travel with modern-day drama in a brilliantly engaging way.
“Smart, witty, and packed with suspense, Travelers is a sci-fi series with a lot of heart, offering a fresh take on time travel that's both thought-provoking and immensely entertaining."
One commenter added: “This series was AMAZING! Highly recommend to watch!”
Another commented: “Brilliant… 2 or 3 more seasons would have been amazing”.

That is, unfortunately, where the bad news comes in.
Unsurprising for Netflix, who loves to cancel beloved shows after two or three seasons, the show’s planned season four was cancelled after season three.
But, if viewers continue to find and love the show, who knows…
