Almost four decades after starring after the original, Eddie Murphy is back in a new instalment of Beverly Hills Cop.
And the first trailer for the movie shows that Murphy has only got better with age as he returns to the role of Axel Foley.
Check out the trailer below:
It's been 30 years since we last saw Murphy as Foley in the third Beverly Hills Cop movie, but the Detroit officer is officially coming back to take on a new case as Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F arrives on Netflix next year.

We'll see Murphy back on patrol with some of his old castmates joining him in the fold, as well as some new faces and even a family member.
Murphy's appearance in the film pretty much guarantees some laugh-out-loud moments, but director Mark Molloy revealed that some of the best laughs haven't come from the script.
“Some of the funniest moments in Axel F are when Eddie's improvising," he told Tudum.
"For me, a big part of my job was to create the right environment, cast the right people around Eddie to allow him to do what he does best.”

Jerry Bruckheimer, who has produced the movie, also praised Murphy's work as an actor as we prepare to see his upcoming performance in all its glory.
“Eddie's such an incredible artist," he said. "He can do drama, he can do comedy - he can do anything. And he’s the same Axel Foley. He’s still on the streets. He’s still doing what he does. Obviously with age you get wiser. But he still has the twinkle in his eye.”
The new movie will see Foley back on the beat in Beverly Hills, but after his daughter Jane's life is threatened he teams up with a new partner, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, to uncover a conspiracy.

Foley might have been to Beverly Hills a few times since his first case there in the '80s, but he's still just as taken aback by the city as he ever way.
“Detroit is a much different city than Los Angeles and especially Beverly Hills,” Bruckheimer explained. “He still has the same kind of wonderment at the things you see walking down Rodeo Drive.”
Molloy added: “As we were scouting going from Detroit to Beverly Hills, the cultural contrast that made Axel a fish out of water in the eighties still is so vivid. They might just be the two most opposite places in America.”
