It's the beginning of the end for Cobra Kai fans as Netflix has just dropped the first trailer for the show's final season.
Set to start streaming on Netflix on 18 July, the final season welcomes back Johnny Lawrence one last time as Cobra Kai is eliminated from the Valley, making way for a new challenge: the world championships of karate.
Though fans only have a few more weeks to go before the final episodes start arriving on Netflix, the season won't be available to watch in its entirety until next year.

That's because Cobra Kai is set to become the first-ever three-part series at Netflix, with each part containing five episodes.
The second set of episodes will be released on 28 November, followed by the third and final set in 2025.
So the good news is there's 15 whole episodes of Cobra Kai still to come - but the bad news is it will take a while for us to see them.

Still, fans have shared their excitement for the new season after the trailer arrived, with the caption on X (formerly Twitter) reading: "All of the training has been for this moment. This is the ultimate tournament where legacy hangs in the balance. The final fight begins July 18."
After watching the trailer, one fan commented: "I’ve been doing my rewatch! Can’t get over how perfect this series is. I HATE that it’s ending!"
Another added: "Cobra Kai is simply the best series ever, I need a tissue for this last season, this trailer is incredible!"
Set 34 years after Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) managed to beat Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) in the 1984 All-Valley Karate Tournament, Cobra Kai follows Lawrence as he restarts the notorious Cobra Kai dojo for a new generation of karate kids.

The creators of the show, creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, have said it's their 'honor' to bring back the world of The Karate Kid and promised they'd 'never once taken this opportunity for granted'.
As they announced the final season of the show, the creators continued: “The upcoming Season Six will mark the conclusion of ‘Cobra Kai.’ While this may be a bittersweet day for the fandom, the Miyagiverse has never been stronger.
"This fandom is the BEST on the planet and we hope to be telling more ‘Karate Kid’ stories with you down the line. Because as we all know, Cobra Kai Never Dies."

It might take a while to get to the ending, but here's hoping the show goes out with a bang.
