Actor Cooper Koch has revealed an important detail about his experience filming on set for Netflix's Monsters.
Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story focuses on brothers Erik and Lyle Menendez.
In 1996, they were sentenced to life in prison for murdering their parents, José and Kitty Menendez, at their Beverly Hills mansion on August 20, 1989.

The brothers were initially tried separately, however the juries reached a deadlock consequently resulting in mistrials.
They were then tried together for the second round where they were ultimately convicted of the murder of their parents and sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
In one scene in the Netflix series, Erik has a sexual encounter in the shower with another inmate while incarcerated and it required actor Cooper Koch to appear fully nude.

There has been some speculation over the NSFW scene, which doesn't leave much to the imagination, with many fans questioning if Koch wore a prosthetic or not.
And now the actor has clarified exactly what happened on set.
During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, he revealed: "Also just to say, mine was not a prosthetic."

Host Andy Cohen then jokingly congratulated the actor as he said: "Congratulations Cooper, you're very blessed aren't you?"
After smiling direct at the camera, Koch added: "Well hung."
In another part of the interview, Cohen asked the star: "What's the scariest thing about showing full-frontal nudity on camera?"
In response, Koch explained: "You know it's not scary. I would say it's more uncomfortable at first. It's more cold. Especially in the shower. It was warm in the beginning."
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Well, guess that’s one way to keep things real! Props to you, Cooper, for going all-natural in ‘MONSTERS’. Method acting at its finest!"

Another shared: "It must have taken lots of confidence to do that then. Impressive."
While a third said: "This is so iconic."
The scene has also been picked up as it suggests Erik is gay, which the real-life Erik has strongly denied.
The scene in the prison was added for the series but never happened in reality.

Erik has previously called out rumours about his sexuality.
In a 1996 interview he said: "It was upsetting to hear. I'm not gay but a lot of gay people write and feel connected to me."
Following the Netflix series, it's also been revealed that the Menendez brothers are getting a new court hearing after possible evidence has been brought to light.
28 years after they were convicted of murdering their parents, a new court hearing has been set for Erik and Lyle for November 29, with potential new evidence regarding the alleged sexual abuse they experienced by their father coming to light.
