Netflix's John Gotti crime documentary has people flooding to social media in praise.
The boss of what is described as America's most powerful Mafia crime syndicate - the Gambino family - John Gotti may have passed away in June, 2002, but his story lives on in a new Netflix docuseries.
The docuseries may have only been released in the US on Tuesday (24 October) but Netflix users are already flocking to social media in praise of the show.
Gotti - a.k.a. 'The Dapper' or 'Teflon Don' - ordered and helped carry out the killing of Gambino boss Paul Castellano, subsequently taking over leadership of the family which was notorious for gambling and drug-dealing.

The Gambino family is reported as having made an annual income of $500 million at one stage.
Despite being acquitted after three trials in the 80s, Gotti was later taken down by the FBI - who had the help of Gotti's right-hand man Salvatore Gravano - and convicted on a plethora of charges in 1992, which included tax evasion and five murders, sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
He spent the majority of his time in prison in solitary confinement, before later being transferred to the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, Missouri after he was diagnosed with throat cancer and it returned after surgery.
In 2002, Gotti passed away as a result of the disease at the age of 61.
