Divorce in Black's Taylor Polidore Williams and Acrimony's Crystle Stewart star as two young women on wildly different life trajectories.
Struggling Kimmie (Williams) turns to stripping to make ends meet, crossing paths with jealous strip club owner Body (Tamera Kissen).
Then there's Mallory (Stewart), who's living the high life as a rich and successful haircare entrepreneur.
But Kimmie and Mallory soon find themselves entangled in each other's business, with explosive consequences.

Beauty in Black has shot to the top of the Netflix TV charts, taking the number one spot worldwide, with Australian drama Territory and legal series The Lincoln Lawyer in second and third place respectively.
Fans were left floored by episode eight's staggering cliffhanger that saw Kimmie slam Body with a car after she took Kimmie's sister hostage.

While viewers say they were 'in a chokehold' following part one's finale, others have anticipated a major issue with part two - namely, how long they're going to have to wait for the rest of the story.
As it turns out, fans are going to be waiting some time for more Beauty in Black.
While an exact release date for part two is yet to be confirmed, there is a confirmed time window.

Viewers could have to endure another five to eight months before finding out what happens next, assuming the release is between March and June 2025.
Fans are taking to X, formerly Twitter, to vent their frustration.
One declared: "Tyler Perry dead wrong for not having season 2 of Beauty in Black come out until spring 2025 wtf."
A second fumed: "I can’t lie I finished #BeautyInBlack and ended up liking it and now I’m waiting for part 2 to come out Spring 2025."

Beauty in Black is part of Perry’s creative partnership with the streaming giant, which will see him write, direct, and produce films and series under a multi-year first-look deal.
The first of the deal, legal thriller Mea Culpa, was released in February.
