Netflix viewers have last chance to watch legendary Christopher Nolan movie labeled 'best film ever made'

Leonardo DiCaprio, Cillian Murphy and Joseph Gordon Levitt star in the 2010 hit

Netflix subscribers only have a matter of days left to watch a Christopher Nolan movie hailed 'the best film ever made'.

Among the top 10 highest-grossing movie directors, Nolan is behind Hollywood hits including Oppenheimer, Interstellar and Tenet.

But it's his 2010 sci-fi flick that's widely regarded as the 'best of all time'.

The movie boasts an all-star cast including Killers of the Flower Moon's Leonardo DiCaprio, Oppenheimer's Cillian Murphy and The Dark Knight Rises' Joseph Gordon Levitt.

Then there's also Tom Hardy, Elliot Page and Ken Watanabe in the mix, too.

The film - called Inception - follows Dom Cobb (DiCaprio), a thief who has the unusual ability to enter people's dreams and steal secrets from their subconscious.

When given the 'chance of redemption', Cobbs and his team instead find themselves against a dangerous enemy who 'anticipates his every move'.

While the movie ends with a major cliffhanger leaving some fans unsatisfied, it's Inception's storytelling and complexity that has won audiences over time and time again.

Maybe you've never seen Inception before and were planning on watching it for the first time soon (I mean, you have had 15 years!).

Or perhaps you're in the mood for a rewatch - but either way, you better get a move on.

That's because Netflix has confirmed Inception will be leaving the US edition of the platform this week.

Usually, the streaming giant has to remove certain films and TV shows due to their licensing agreements expiring, so we can assume that's likely the case here.

Inception was a box office hit and its critical reception was, mostly, overwhelmingly positive.

Over on Rotten Tomatoes, it's been rated an impressive 91 percent by fans, but a slightly less favorable 87 percent by critics.

Their consensus reads: "Smart, innovative, and thrilling, Inception is that rare summer blockbuster that succeeds viscerally as well as intellectually."

Fans have, for years, reckoned Inception is one of the best movies of all time.

One fan gushed: "You know how there are books, and then there are novels? Books can be good, but novels can beautiful and brilliant. Inception is the film version of a novel," before adding: "Easily the best film ever made."

A second agreed: "One of Nolan’s best movies and one of the most compelling, original ideas ever conceived."

A third praised: "The all star cast has incredible chemistry too."

Inception leaves Netflix in the US on March 1.
