Netflix fans have been moved by a mini-series based on a true story which has earned a near-perfect 98 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.
While Robert De Niro's '10/10' political thriller Zero Day and the streamer's three-part Gabby Petito documentary are currently storming the US charts, there are some TV shows from a few years back which may have slipped under your radar.

And while it's been described as 'heart-wrenching', its incredibly important story really shines through, according to critics.

This one stars Apple Cider Vinegar's Kaitlyn Dever and was inspired by a Pulitzer Prize-winning 2015 article about a series of rapes in the states of Washington and Colorado.
Dever takes on the role of Marie, a young woman who reports a rape and yet is treated like a criminal for it.

Marie is charged for reporting the crime, but when two female detectives - played by Toni Collette and Merritt Wever - are tasked with attempting to identify a serial rapist who fits Marie's descriptions, could she finally be taken seriously?
The eight-episode series - called Unbelievable - was first released in 2019, but is still only just being discovered by fans now.
