Netflix viewers are saying there is a slept on murder mystery show that they simply can’t get enough of.
Netflix has been a streaming giant for quite a while now and it can be more than a little time-consuming to watch everything on there.
So every now and again some of the most entertaining TV shows and films slip through the cracks... and yet you can often find yourself with nothing to watch.

Well, the Facebook group Netflix Bangers often has viewers discussing some of their favorite flicks and what is so special about them.
In a post asking for a show that ‘hooks you from the beginning and doesn’t let go’, many social media users recommended the CW show In The Dark.
The show came out in 2019 and ran for four seasons, concluding in 2022.

The show focusses on 20-something Murphy who is blind and drunk loner.
Her life is turned upside down when one of her only friends, who saved her from a violent mugging, is reportedly found dead with the police barely taking an interest. This results in Murphy taking matters into her own hands to try and find out what happened to her friend regardless of the consequences.
While you might not have heard of it, it does command a 7.5 IMDB score following 16,000 ratings, so it could certainly be worth checking out to see if it hooks you too.

“I was watching that and liked it! Took a break though bc Bridgeton came out now,” added another.
On Reddit, they have also been singing praises for the show.
“Love this show. I love Murphy’s character and the actress who plays her is phenomenal,” another wrote.

“I’m watching this now, and it’s so good! There’s just the right amount of humor, mystery, thrill, and cleverness,” added another.
“Just finished this and I definitely let out a yelp in the finale! Great show imo,” a third wrote.
Despite some of the praise, the show wasn’t very well received on Rotten Tomatoes as it holds an average audience score of only 49 percent.

So, seemingly not the perfect show but the premise may be different enough to pique your interest and see if it can successfully hook you after the first few episodes.
