A Miles Teller movie with an almost-flawless Rotten Tomatoes score is being removed from Netflix.
While Netflix is always adding new titles to its roster, the platform quietly removes movies and TV too - usually down to their licensing deals expiring.
The 2014 movie made waves when it first dropped in theaters, with fans branding it their 'favourite of all time'.

It joined the streaming platform only 18 months ago and I just know movie fans will be gutted to see this one go.
The psychological drama follows Miles Teller as ambitious drummer Andrew Neiman, a student at the fictional Shaffer Conservatory in New York City.
He's being mentored by the terrifying Terence Fletcher (J.K Simmons), a cut-throat jazz instructor who takes absolutely no prisoners.

Andrew is soon pushed to the brink of his ability - and sanity - when he's transferred to a top jazz ensemble - with Terence as his teacher, no less.
His perfectionism nose dives into obsession, making for some incredibly tense viewing.
The critically-acclaimed film was described by one fan as 'an action movie that just happens to be about jazz' - and I couldn't agree anymore.
Meanwhile, another admitted the movie gets better every time they watch it.

The film in question is, of course, Whiplash, written and directed by La La Land's Damien Chazelle.
The movie was nominated for five awards at the 87th Academy Awards, winning in the Best Film Editing and Best Sound Mixing categories, while Simmons also bagged the gong for Best Supporting Actor. Impressive!
Although, if you were planning a re-watch, then you better get on it as Whiplash leaves Netflix on May 1.

If you're still on the fence, Rotten Tomatoes critics scored it an almost-perfect 94 percent, praising multiple elements of the movie, but mainly its storytelling, editing and performances.
Its critics consensus reads: "Intense, inspiring, and well-acted, Whiplash is a brilliant sophomore effort from director Damien Chazelle and a riveting vehicle for stars J.K. Simmons and Miles Teller."
Meanwhile, one viewer wrote: "Something about the ending of this film that just breaks me every time. An absolute emotional roller coaster."
A jazz musician hailed it a 'must-see', adding: "It portrays the ways of jazz well, but even if you don't like jazz or aren't into it you should still watch it the acting and cinematics are great."

A third wrote: "Powerful performance by Simmons and an immersive experience into a musicians life. A glimpse at how hard one needs to push themselves and what they need to sacrifice to be great."
Whiplash is streaming on Netflix until May 1.
