In terms of original shows that Netflix have created, nothing is quite as big as Stranger Things.
Arguably the biggest original franchise created in 21st century, it’s not surprising that the stars are earning bank for their final season.
When it comes to child stars, studios are always able to get away with a bit more too. Is a 10-year-old really going to complain about ‘only’ getting $20,000?

The Stranger Things kids in season one earned roughly that per episode, about £20,000, making $80,000 in total.
Considering they were all about 12, I’m going to go and cry in a corner.
The older stars were, understandably, paid quite a bit more than this.

David Harbour, who was not a huge name prior to Stranger Things, appearing in shows such as The Newsroom, earned about $80,000 per episode.
Winona Ryder, the biggest name by far in season one, earned the most – at $100,000 per episode.
This sum obviously jumped up in the following seasons as the show exploded, becoming an absolute phenomenon.

By season three, the kids almost reached parity with the adult stars – as most of them were earning $250,000 per episode, with the breakout star Millie Bobby Brown earning $300,000.
At 15. I picked the wrong career clearly.
This was, however, just shy of the amount Harbour and Ryder made for season three, who were both paid $350,000 per episode.
For the newest upcoming season however – the amount the cast are earning blows this out the water.

With the show resurgent in season four following the best reviews since season one, and breakout viral scenes such as the ‘Running Up That Hill’ scene – the final season is set to be massive.
According to The Puck, the 'kids' (minus Millie Bobby Brown) earnings will be a total pay of $7 million.
The older ‘siblings’, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Maya Hawke, will reportedly be on a slightly lower salary of $6 million for the season. How will they survive?

The highest confirmed salary packages were for David Harbour and Winona Ryder, who will earn $7.1 million for their roles in the final season of the Netflix show.
Millie Bobby Brown’s salary, meanwhile, is unknown – as it is tied into her overall deal with Netflix, likely including Enola and Damsel. If we go off the salary of the others though, the answer is likely a f**k tonne of money.
If this has confirmed anything it’s this – parents, get your kids in acting classes the second you can.
