Seeing the end of the story for Mike, Eleven, Dustin, Lucas and Will certainly feel like an end to an era.
The Season 5 teaser plans to open on a creepy note, just as we started back in season 1.

Other fans were more than happy to debate their own theories on the direction of season 5.
“What if… the first episode of season five goes back in time to when will went missing hence this post ^^^. And the reason it’s called the crawl is because it’s them having to go back in time to fix everything. The crawl - the voyage or an adventure/ journey, to safe Hawkins.,” one fan wrote.
“It’s gonna be a flash back to the time will was in the upside down and he’s singing should i stay or should i go in the upside down, how many points to bet that it’s gonna be in castle byers."
