Adam Scott has revealed the heartbreaking reason he doesn't watch Parks and Recreation.
The fan-favorite sitcom ran for seven seasons on NBC, between 2009 and 2015. Scott starred alongside the likes of Aubrey Plaza, Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Nick Offerman and Chris Pratt in the sensational mockumentary, which followed the antics of a Parks and Recreation Department of the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana.
While Scott is now fronting Apple TV's highly reviewed Severance - the hotly-anticipated second season of which dropped earlier this month - it's fair to say Parks and Recreation will always hold a special place in his heart.

And he confirmed this by confessing that seeing the beloved TV show makes him 'sad'.
The actor sat down with Josh Horowitz for an episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, where the host played him a clip from the hit sitcom.
He confessed: "Well, I haven't seen the show in a long time, honestly, because it makes me sad to see the show, because I miss them. I miss all the actors even though we're constantly in touch and stuff.

"But I miss the time of making [the show]."
He continued candidly: "It was a really just joyful five years for me, seven years for the show. Getting to work there every day, with that group of people, we had so much fun.
"And we were making something that meant something to people. It meant something to us. So, yeah, I haven't really seen it in a while. But I should, because that was fun."
It's been a decade since the show's finale aired, but the cast still keep in touch, even amid their busy lives and ongoing projects.

And over the summer, Ann Perkins star Rashida Jones exclusively told UNILAD that 'every single member' of the Parks and Recreation cast would be down for a reboot.
When asked about the chances of the show making a comeback, Jones enthusiastically responded: “Oh, anytime, any day. I mean, we all are still friends, we text. I talk to Amy [Poehler] every day.
“If there's a reason and somebody says, ‘Let's do it’, I think every single one of us would say yes.”

When asked if any reboot had been discussed, she said: “I mean, yes. We're all like, ‘Come on, let's go’. But you know, the writers gotta get it going.
“I think we have to have a reason. We have to feel like there's a good reason to do it, you know, not just to do it.”
