Prime is always dropping new content on its platform, and recently debuted Jake Gyllenhaal's highly anticipated Road House remake.
The film featured UFC star Conor McGregor, and the new take on the 1989 classic has been hailed as 'thoroughly entertaining'.

But if it was a series you were looking for to binge this weekend, this six-series drama could be it.
Titled Animal Kingdom, the show boasts an 89 percent average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
A synopsis for the programme reads: "Centers on a Southern California family, whose excessive lifestyle is fueled by their criminal activities. The series centers on 17-year-old Joshua 'J' Cody, who moves in with his freewheeling relatives in their Southern California beach town after his mother dies of a heroin overdose."

And it has an impressive cast consisting of Peaky Blinders star Finn Cole, Ellen Barkin, Shawn Hatosy, and Scott Speedman.
Someone recently took to Netflix Bangers to ask people for their thoughts of the show, and were quickly met with rave reviews.
One said: "The absolute BEST show EVER!"

Meanwhile, someone else liked it so much that they've rewatched it several times.
"I’ve watched the entire series over 10 times," they penned. "I can’t find anything better so I just watch it over and over again in between other series I find lol."

Animal Kingdom also has celebrity fans - Shaq O'Neal included.
Speaking at Variety's Entertain Summit in 2017, the retired basketball star said the drama was his favorite on the network.
For those of you who might have confused the Animal Kingdom series with the 2010 Australian movie of the same name - that's because the TV show is based on the film.

The American television series developed by Jonathan Lisco, who's also known for writing K-Ville.
Animal Kingdom first aired on TNT in 2016, with Prime going on to obtain the exclusive streaming rights to the show a year later.
The sixth and final season aired in 2022 after a whopping 75 episodes - all of which are currently available to stream on Prime.
