Apple TV+ viewers are loving Colin Farrell's new detective thriller.
The Academy Award winning actor has featured in a series of hit films and TV shows - from The Batman and The Banshees of Inisherin, to Disney's Dumbo and True Detective - there's not a genre that Farrell can't do.
And, in Farrell's first partnership with Apple TV+, the Irish-born actor stars as private detective John Sugar.
Only Murders in the Building favorite Amy Ryan joins Farrell, as well as James Cromwell, Kirby Howell-Baptiste and Sydney Chandler.

Just 48 hours after its release and fans are already raving about Sugar.
"The new noir mystery series "SUGAR" on Apple TV, starring Colin Farrell, is captivating and addictive," one reviewer wrote on X.
"Anyone watching Sugar on Apple TV+?" asked another. "Collin Farrell is excellent in it, but the real selling point is the old school film noir vibe it has. Its tremendous."
Someone else gushed: "Okay, so episode 1 of “Sugar” (#AppleTV) is even better than I expected.

"Fernando Meirelles’ direction keeps this neo-noir fresh while homaging the classics & Farrell excels with a *fantastic* character. Superb!"
Others noted the 'twists' the show is rumored to have.
Someone said: "Strongly urge anyone who likes classic noir/private eye stories to watch Sugar on Apple TV+ - but not to read anything about it first. It has one of the most brilliantly mental twists I can remember."

"I watched the first 2 eps (episodes) of Sugar on AppleTV," penned another. "Colin Farrell is flippin marvellous but all the reviews say the show has a terrible plot twist so let's see."
Elsewhere Sugar has been described as being an 'LA story with a love-it-or-hate-it twist'.
Sugar follows the success of Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg's Masters of the Air, which dropped on the streaming service earlier this year - a sequel to 2001's Band of Brothers.
The war series was well received and quickly became Apple TV+'s most watched series launch to date.
