Captain Lee has disclosed the full amount he got paid for Below Deck last season, despite being kicked off in the next series.
Known for his care-free attitude and having absolutely no filter at all, it’s no doubt that Captain Lee was perfect for the show, and will be missed in the next season of Below Deck.
But fans will be glad to know that this isn’t the end of the captain’s career in reality TV, and it looks like something different is on the way.

He announced that he is leaving the TV network, Bravo, to feature in a new series with Oxygen.
People will also be happy to know that it is still water-related, just with a small dark twist.
The series will be called Deadly Waters, and looks into murders that have taken place in the ocean.

Captain Lee navigating sensitive murder stories is definitely going to be an interesting watch.
But it seems as though fans are happy for the infamous captain, one said: “I think this could be really good, I suppose it does actually depend on how involved he is in it with all of his health issues, could be anything from a simple voice over to actually being on location.
“I will definitely check it out, hope he has been working on some new one liners.”
Season 11 will be the first season of Below Deck that doesn’t feature him, and it premieres on February 5.

Who will replace him, you may ask?
That would be captain Kerry Titheradge, so the TV network really is switching things up.
Despite being kicked off the programme, it didn’t stop Lee from weighing in on the reality show’s drama.

He also recently spoke out about how much the stars get paid, and it might actually shock you.
On his podcast, Salty with Captain Lee, he revealed how tips were split between co-stars.
He said: “The last season I did, we split up a quarter of a million dollars in tips [after six weeks].
“Think about it. $1,500 or 2,000 for a three-day charter?

“That is pretty good money.
“As far as salaries go, what someone else makes is none of my business.
“I negotiate what I want and what I think I am worth.
“We either come to an agreement or we don’t and I leave.”
Since the show launched in 2013, it has also had many successful spin-offs.
These include Below Deck: Mediterranean, Below Deck: Down Under, and Below Deck: Sailing Yacht.
