There was a lot of excitement for the highly anticipated sequel, but many feel it has fell flat on its face.
The movie sits at a lowly 33 percent Rotten Tomatoes score, and some film fanatics have even walked out of cinemas an hour in after being unimpressed by the flick.
One Rotten Tomatoes user said: "This film was so bad that I joined Rotten Tomatoes for the first time ever just to leave it a review."

A second added: "Its story was slow and boring and never really went anywhere with the story. Way too much Lady Gaga singing. Didn't like the ending either."
Not all the reviews were negative however, with one five-star review stating: "It's probably not for everybody. Those who have depth and have the ability to lose themselves in the story will love it. The acting was phenomenal."
While many have been unimpressed by the Joker movie as a whole, there is one particular act that some feel 'ruined the movie'.
And for those who haven't watched the movie yet, be pre-warned this contains spoilers for the film's final act.

After managing to get through the vast majority of the movie, many viewers were left shocked by one scene.
It sees Arthur Fleck insulting Arkham's guards, who are ultimately not happy and proceed to beat him up.
While nothing explicitly was shown on screen, the guards can be seen wiping off his makeup, before many believe he is raped in the shower.

There is divide on the internet as to whether Arthur was sexually assaulted or beaten up by the guards.
Nonetheless, many have flocked to Twitter to discuss their views on the scene.
One person wrote: "The Joker gets gang raped by prison guards in Joker 2. Very glad I will never watch this movie fully. They ruined the first movies legacy because people resonated with it."
While a second added: "That rape scene had me on the brink of tears. Thank god I don’t have serious emotional triggers because wow that movie CUTS DEEEEEP."
