Viewers are flocking to social media in terror over an 'outstanding' supernatural thriller which is some people's 'favorite movie of all time'.
If you've already watched the 'incredibly underrated' thriller which was branded a 'masterpiece' by some Netflix viewers and needed another watch as you wait for a sequel to the streaming service's 'best horror thriller' then look no further.

The supernatural thriller - titled The Lovely Bones - was co-written by Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings), Fran Walsh (Heavenly Creatures) and Philippa Boyens (The Lord of the Rings).

It features a stellar cast including Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird), Mark Wahlberg (Father Stu), Rachel Weisz (Black Widow) and Stanley Tucci (The Devil Wears Prada).
The story is based on Alice Sebold's 2002 book of the same name and centers around 14-year-old Susie Salmon who's murdered.
As police and her family investigate her murder - Susie's father Jack (Wahlberg) becoming obsessed - Susie has to decide whether to enter heaven and allow her family to move on or whether she'll try to seek revenge on her killer.

The Lovely Bones reportedly had a budget of $65 million and grossed $93,621,340 globally at the box office, as per Box Office Mojo.

Despite the film having a far less than fresh Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer score of 31 percent and meagre audience score of 52 percent, it's received a more positive response on social media.
A viewer shared stills from The Lovely Bones to LADbible Facebook Group Netflix Bangers and it didn't take long for people to weigh in.
One user said: "The lovely Bones. Great movie. Saoirse Ronan stars in n it. Book was fantastic as well."
"This is my favourite movie of all time. So many different meanings to it. And acted so well," another added.

A third commented: "The scariest movie I’ve ever seen. It was actually the first novel Ive read when I was a kid. I dropped the book when he abused her coz it reminded me of my own abuse trauma."
"Agree… I read the book when I was a teenager, and when the film came out I was dubious about watching it… but honestly they did the book proud!! It’s in my top 10 movies x," a fourth added.
