Many people have been left shocked after finding out the real age of Seth Rogen and Bill Hader when they appeared in Superbad.
The coming-of-age comedy sees Seth and Evan, played by Jonah Hill and Michael Cera, who are about to go to different colleges.
The film ended up becoming a cult classic, and was also a writing credit for Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

Rogen also appears in the film playing the part of a cop Officer Michaels, along with Bill Hader as Officer Slater - a pair of experienced beat cops in the movie.
They turn up at a liquor store where the two leads are trying to buy alcohol for a party that they're going to.
Because after all, this is a teen/college comedy so obviously there has to be a big party in there.
But while they're trying to buy alcohol they're interrupted when Officers Michaels and Slater show up.

Things come to an explosive conclusion when the two cops, who have been knowingly drinking with someone underage the whole time, blow up their car with a molotov cocktail.
It's fine, they'll just get a couple of weeks' suspension with pay.
But fans of the movie have been left gobsmacked after finding out the age that Rogen and Hader were when they were in the movie.

What's you guess? Their thirties? Maybe even forties? Both very wrong.
In fact, Hader was 29, and Rogen was just 25-years-old when he wrote and acted in the movie.
It's safe to say that people were very surprised when they found out how young the pair were when they played the roles.
One person couldn't believe it, writing: "Seth Rogen was TWENTY FIVE here!!!"

And another posted: "Seth was only 25 interesting!!"
But a third simply could not take the revelation on board, writing: "I refuse to believe that."
As for Superbad, the movie has been called one of the defining movies of the millennial generation, as well as one of the best high school movies.

That's very high praise indeed.
The movie also has a rating of 87 percent on Rotten Tomatoes which was based on reviews from 207 critics.
In 2023 Rogen caused controversy after he said that the comedy was the last 'good high school movie' ever made.
X did what it does best as users whipped up a storm over the comments, putting forward their suggestions for the best movie.
Rogen went on to clarify his comment later saying that there had been a lot of good high school movies, telling PEOPLE: "Tha twas a joke. There's a lot."
