A star of the second season of AppleTV's dystopian drama has spoken out on the possibility of the events happening in real life.
There are many far-fetched and futuristic film and TV shows out there, some more outlandish than others.
And I think the majority of film junkies ask how realistic these environments are to ever cross over to real life.

Well, an actor who stars in the second season of an AppleTV+ series featuring Rebecca Ferguson has stated the environment it takes place in could become a reality in the future.
Steve Zahn, perhaps best known for his roles in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series and That Thing You Do!, joins the cast for season two of Silo.
Silo season two continues the story of Juliette Nichols (Ferguson) as she explores the underground bases of the Silo.
After stepping outside of the Silo at the conclusion of season one, Juliette will uncover a whole bunch of secrets in the new season.

Joining the likes of Ferguson, Tim Robbins and rapper turned actor Common, Zahn plays a key role as survivor Solo in the second series of the dystopian world.
'To me this is not that far-fetched'
Speaking to UNILAD, Zahn said it was a 'delight' to work with Ferguson on Silo season two, as well as discussing the 'daunting' act it was to bring his character to life.

And while the setting that plays a backdrop to the story being told in Silo may sound pretty unrealistic in 2024, Zahn thinks it could become a reality sometime in the future.
"Yes, 150 years from now," the actor said when asked by UNILAD if Silo's world could come to fruition.
"To me this is not that far-fetched, this what makes it interesting to me," he continued.
Zahn was full of praise for Rebecca Ferguson after working with her in recent months.

Speaking of what it was like to work with the Dune actor and the rest of the cast, Zahn added: "She's (Ferguson] really smart, she's really prepared - we work very similarly.
"When the cameras are rolling, we're on it. When that stops, we are just screwing around having fun. It was a delight to work with her."
Zahn spoke further about the camaraderie among the crew and cast, and said he would have no hesitation about appearing in a potential third season of Silo.

Robbins also seems keen for a third season in the dystopian world.
Speaking to UNILAD, the actor joked about how other projects he wished he'd be 'killed off', but with Silo, he hopes it goes on 'forever'.
Before talk of all that however, Silo season two premiers on AppleTV+ on Friday (15 November).
And it's for sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats, with one review stating season two left them at 'breaking point'.
Fans are pretty excited for Silo season two, with one person on YouTube penning: "This is currently my favorite show on television. I can't wait to finally be back in the Silo!"
