"I couldn’t stop gasping."
They added in a followup comment: "Y’all I can't stop thinking about it holy s**t I’m obsessed and have to see it again immediately. Everyone RUN to the theatres."
People in the comments who had already seen the movie agreed.
"I haven’t been so physically unnerved watching a horror movie in a theatre in a while. I was uncomfortable the whole f**king movie and I loved it," one person commented.
Another added: "It is truly so crazy. Just felt so mean and hopeless but also very funny. I’ve never really gotten chills from a movie but definitely did with this one LOL. Best horror I’ve seen in a long time."

A third wrote: "I was literally staring in complete shock, last time that happened to me in a theatre was I think Terrifier 2 with the bedroom scene but that was just with how over the top it was, but this was honestly on another level in terms of pure terror."
One person said they were so scared they almost 'started praying', while another said just looking at the image sent 'shivers down my spine with the memory of the scene'.
Another viewer said when they saw the movie, the 'entire theatre was screaming' through this scene, while someone else claimed '10 people walked out' of the cinema they were in.
The movie, which was directed by Australian brothers Danny and Michael Philippou, follows a group of friends who discover how to conjure spirits by using an embalmed hand.
