Predator fans have been loving the main character in the new prequel film Prey.
As if we weren't excited enough for the next instalment of the thriller franchise, Prey has a killer protagonist too - literally, you should see how good this girl is at hunting.
The film dropped on Hulu this past Friday, 5 August and was met with a wave of rave reviews.

Check out the trailer below:
For those not familiar, Prey is directed by Dan Trachtenberg and follows Naru (Amber Midthunder), a skilled female warrior who fights to protect her tribe while under attack from a 'highly-evolved' predator - aka the villain from John Thomas' hit 1987 film, Predator
The reviews for Prey are already looking promising, with the flick having debuted on Rotten Tomatoes with a very solid 100 percent - making it the highest-rated instalment of the franchise so far.

And a lot of those reviews are praising one person in particular - the lead character Naru.
One fan was more than a little excited about the film, saying: "Y'all this movie right here is truly a masterpiece, one of the best predator movie I have seen. Prey got suspense, tension and a thrill of hunt or get hunted lol 10/10 oh and I forgot to mention..."

While another said: "Naru is easily one of the best new protagonists in the Predator franchise. Amber Midthunder deserves ALL the awards for bringing such an astounding journey to life in such an interesting way."
Still, some criticised Naru's victory over the infamous predator, but let's be honest you're always going to have people criticising films, it's just the way it goes.
And Twitter users were quick to hit back against those who weren't as convinced by the character saying: "Watching grown-ass men cry whenever women (especially women of color) in movies beat fictional creatures will always be funny to be. Same dudes who were heavy breathing over Ripley and Sarah Connor mad about Naru. Anyway, watch."

We agree with what this user said, go and watch the new film immediately - you won't be disappointed.
