Here you have it! The time has finally come for fans of the ex-DC cannon comic to rejoice as the season four trailer of The Boys has officially dropped.
It was only yesterday (December 1) that creators of The Boys decided to tease their viewers with a sudden post on X (formerly Twitter) about the newest season.
The Boys' official account posted: “About this time tomorrow, you’re gonna open this app to watch the S4 teaser trailer.

“It’s full of nothing but rainbows and butterflies.
“Who are we kidding, it’s full f***in’ madness after this first frame.”
Of course, the first frame in question was an ominous image of Homelander’s (Antony Starr) back and we know how unhinged that All American Hero has become after his escapades in season three.
Well, people. The time is now and are you ready for the sneak peek?
Even just watching the trailer is enough to make you want to storm Vought International and nab all of the Compound V for yourself, eh?

I don’t know about you, but I’m hoping my superpower gives me the ability to freeze time just so I can get a little more shut eye in the mornings.
Not quite the adventurous power, unlike Homelander who is essentially Evil Superman, or Black Noir who could take you down in an instant.
Theories have been swirling around for the past year since we were graced with season three and a spin-off: Gen V, and the trailer might have some clues.

We all know that the series has defeated their bad guys, from Soldier Boy in his frozen chamber to the radical tongue-chewing from Stormfront.
But it definitely seems that Homelander’s rise to becoming the worst villain of all time is a likely storyline that’ll prove to have some of the craziest fighting scenes.
Anyone thinking about the time he lasered the eyes out of Madelyn Stillwell?
But regardless, fans have been losing their minds after watching the trailer.

Not only did the arrival of Jeffrey Dean Morgan at the end of the clip spark The Walking Dead fans and The Boys fans to unite as one, but along with the addition of some major action scenes, it was beautiful.
One fan wrote: "OH I LOVE IT."
A second added: "I speak for everyone when I say The Boys is the best show ever."

While a third penned: "So hyped up for this."
Someone else was counting their luck that two franchises were dropping information within the week, writing: "The new trailer of The Boys it’s just came out and after 3 days the new Grand Theft Auto trailer will come.
"We eating good!"
Of course, there's always someone routing for the bad guy, with one user commenting: "We will be watching for Homelander."
I mean, he is kind of loveable, in an insanely unhinged way.
Season four of The Boys is set to be released on Prime Video sometime in 2024.
