Chris Brown caused yet more controversy by hurling a woman’s phone into the crowd, seemingly because she wasn’t paying full attention to the dance he was doing for her on stage.

Chris Brown – never one to be too far away from a scandal – is currently on a big world tour which recently rolled into Berlin, which is where our story unfolds.

You see, the 33-year-old has been inviting people up onto the stage for a bit of a private – well, as private as you can get in front of thousands of people – dance during one of his songs.
The idea is that whoever he grabs from the crowd sits down on a chair in the centre of the stage whilst Brown moves seductively around them.
On this occasion, though, the woman seemed more interested in filming what was happening than actually being present in the moment for what we’d have to assume is a one-off experience.

This fact wasn’t lost on Brown, who waited for his moment before stealing her phone from her and chucking it straight into crowd, leaving the shocked fan wondering what had just happened to her.
Ironically enough, the whole thing was being filmed by everyone else at the time – meaning that she could have just used that footage – and it was later shared on TikTok.
Opinion on whether Brown did the right thing or not is split, with many suggesting that he shouldn’t have thrown the woman’s phone away, and others claiming that it is the woman’s own fault for not living in the moment and experiencing her own life first hand.
Perhaps both scenarios are a little bit true, eh?

One fan commented: “She literally paid for the ticket to see his show if she wants to record for the memory why not.”
Another said: “But he could hurt someone by throwing the phone.”
While a third wrote: "I'm sorry I would of [sic] got up of that chair and walked off he had no right whatsoever to do that.”

Not everyone is in agreement though.
Someone else said: "It's his concert…. he can do what he wants."
A second Brown-defender added: "As he should!!! Enjoy the moment girl, bask in it. You'll get the recordings from everyone else on TikTok no need to always record sheesh."
This latest controversy is far from the largest that Brown has ever caused for himself, after the 2009 incident in which he admitted to physically assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

More recently, singer Chloe Bailey got herself involved in the scandal by announcing that she was collaborating with the singer, drawing criticism from those who believe that she would have been better not to.
"We're failing Black women in music if they feel like they have to collaborate with a known abuser in order to chart,” one said.
"It's 2023 and women still collaborating with Chris Brown," added another.
UNILAD has contacted a representative for Chris Brown for a comment.
