A group of Brits have lifted the lid on exactly what you get if you pay up for the VIP treatment at Coachella - and whether it's actually worth it.
For those not in the know, Coachella is a massive music festival held in California full of stellar acts, though some of this year's offerings left people a bit disappointed.
This year, the festival has landed itself in massive trouble for going too late each night - though the people there probably weren't that bothered.

Weekend number one of Coachella has been and gone, but there's still another chunk left to go before the show is over, and a group of Brits have been checking it out to see exactly what all the fuss is about.
YouTubers TPD TV even had a chance to experience a bit of festival luxury as they were given entry to the VIP section.
The guys were given VIP guest passes by the Coachella organisers, which would normally cost you $1,069 to get the fancy treatment for a weekend.

If you're willing to part with that sort of cash then you might enjoy your time as it's apparently 'f**king well nice'. However, it seems the novelty wears off quickly as one of the group soon said, 'now I've seen it, I'm bored'.
It seems as though once you get past the feeling of being in a slightly nicer part of the festival zone, the boredom creeps back in and you start to wonder if the money was worth it.
There are some extra add-ons you can get in the VIP zone, and although there's no free food or drinks, for another $364 - on top of your VIP fee - you'd get 'meals from a Michelin star chef' and be able to sit down at an actual table.
Perhaps most importantly the toilets in the VIP section were rated '11/10', and compared to the toilet facilities at other festivals, they'd 'blow them out the water'.

Ultimately, while the verdict was it being 'f**king lovely' with fancy toilets, the guys found the Coachella VIP experience to be 'absolutely not' worth the cost of admission.
Paying over $1,000 also got you into a special standing section for some of the acts, which again the guys didn't find to really be worth it.
They found it 'very much a strange place' where people 'don't seem to bring out their true personalities, like they're covering something up'.

On the plus side, there was next to no queue at the merchandise stand in the guest area and you could take a drink in with you.
All in all, it sounds like it's alright if you've got 'mummy and daddy's money' paying the bills and you really want to go to a festival without that festival toilet experience.
If that's not for you then spending over $1,000 per person for access to Coachella's VIP section probably isn't worth it.
While the VIP experience didn't really float their boat, elsewhere in their video they did give Coachella itself a big thumbs up as a 'truly wonderful experience' with a 'great' vibe.
