If you thought you were petty, Lana Del Rey has just raised the bar to a whole new level.
The singer has begun promoting her upcoming album Did You Know That There's A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd - but you'll only find a billboard in one town across all of the US.
Rather than taking up advertising space up and down the country, in the most heavily populated cities and tourist destinations, Lana is only interested in promoting her album in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Why? Because it's her ex's home town.
Legendary.
Fans who follow Lana's private Instagram account have shared a selfie that the singer posted of herself in front of the billboard, accompanied by the caption: "There's only one and it's in Tulsa", followed by a skull emoji.

And in case that wasn't perfectly clear, she later added in the comments: "It's. Personal."
Tulsa, Oklahoma is the hometown of Lana's ex-boyfriend Sean Larkin, a police-officer-turned-reality-star who appeared in A&E's docu-series Live PD from 2019 to 2020
The couple reportedly dated for six months, splitting their time between Los Angeles and Tulsa.
Lana even brought him to the Grammy Awards in 2020, after making their red carpet debut at the pre-Grammy gala.

Eventually, though, the couple called it quits later that year.
At the time, it seemed as though the pair parted ways on good terms, with Sean telling The New York Times: "We still talk and whatnot, we just have busy schedules right now."
Fans absolutely lost it when Lana revealed the petty marketing strategy for her next album.

"Lana Del Rey putting up just one billboard for her album in her ex boyfriend's city and then posting about it is so Lana Del Rey," tweeted one fan.
"Lana Del Rey putting up 1 billboard to promote her new album, in Tulsa Oklahoma, where her ex lives, is the type of petty that I LIVE for," raved a second.
"Lana Del Rey is so real for that billboard in Tulsa cause i’d do the same," admitted a third.
And a fourth commented: "Lana Del Rey put the one f***ing billboard in Tulsa. Idc if you like her or not that is hilarious."

To add insult to injury, Lana took inspiration from her good friend Taylor Swift and first announced the album, along with the track titles, on 7 December - Sean Larkin's birthday.
The album is due to drop in March 2023 and if this promo is anything to go off, it's gonna be scandalously good.
