Dave Grohl's daughters seem to deactivate Instagram after their dad admitted to having a secret baby with another person

Dave Grohl's daughters seem to deactivate Instagram after their dad admitted to having a secret baby with another person

The Foo Fighters musician announced the news earlier today on Instagram

Dave Grohl's daughters appear to have deactivated their Instagram accounts following their dad's announcement that he fathered a baby outside of his marriage.

On September 10, the Foo Fighters founder posted a statement on his Instagram sharing that he recently welcomed a daughter with a person outside his marriage to Jordyn Blum.

"I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage," Grohl wrote in the post. "I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.

"We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."

At the time of writing, it seems that two of Grohl's daughters, Violet, 18, and Harper, 15, have taken down their Instagram profiles following their dad's post.

Violet used to go by the username 'viioletgrohl' and boasted around 225,000 followers. Meanwhile Harper used to be found at 'harpergrohll' and had over 40,000 followers. Their profiles now simply read that the page is not found.

People reported that Violet's Instagram account was deactivated around an hour after Grohl shared the announcement. It's unclear when exactly the sisters deactivated their accounts.

Violet seems to have a musical inclination just like her dad and performed with the Foo Fighters at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival.

As per People, Grohl introduced his eldest daughter on stage saying: "My favorite singer in the world."

"This is a song I wrote for my mother, Violet's grandmother. This is 'Show Me How,'" he said before the group performed the track off their latest album, But Here We Are.

As the pair finished the song, Grohl yelled: "That's my girl!"

"I love it when you're on stage with your daughter and you hit a bad note," he continued.

Grohl and Blum have been married for over 20 years. He first met the model and TV producer at LA's Sunset Marquis Whiskey Bar in 2001.

The couple tied the knot on August 2, 2003, and welcomed three daughters together throughout their marriage, Violet, Harper, and 10-year-old Ophelia Saint.

Grohl and Blum were recently spotted attending London's Wimbledon tennis tournament together in July, where they were pictured sitting next to each other and enjoying the games.

The musician was previously married to Jennifer Leigh Youngblood for a brief time in the '90s. They divorced in 1997, and as per a 2007 profile from The Guardian, infidelity was one of the reasons they split up.
