Dave Grohl's representatives have responded after an Instagram post claimed to show his 'secret' child.
Well, the child is certainly not quite as secret anymore, after the Foo Fighters musician took to social media to admit to cheating on his wife and fathering a child with the other woman.
In a post uploaded to his Instagram on September 10, he wrote: "I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage.

"I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.
"We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."
And it didn't take long for an Instagram user to share an image of a baby, claiming the child to be Grohl's.
The since-deactivated account - @valeriegreyston - shared a photograph of a woman's hand being clutched by a small child's fingers, a pink blanket visible alongside the baby's mouth and it's floral top.

The post read: "My sweet Roxie Junie Grohl, being you mama has already been the most incredible experience of my life. Every day, I fall more in love with you and this new role.
"Your daddy, was by my side through the entire pregnancy, making sure we were both taken care of, and I'm so grateful for his love and support.
"I'm new to this whole baby mama thing, but I promise to always do my best for you. As much as I want to share my joy with the world, I also need to protect our privacy right now. I'm happy everyone knows about you though, because you are such a special part of my life."

The caption went on to say how 'much of' Grohl is in the baby's 'face' from the shape of her eyes to how her nose 'crinkles'.
"You are truly Grohl through and through," it continues. "It's amazing how much of him is already shining in you. Your dad is so proud that you carry on his family's spirit and I can already tell you have the same strength and kindness in you."
It also thanked everyone for the 'love and support' and hashtagging the baby's name and Grohl's too.

The post and account has since been deleted and Grohl's representatives have since responded to the claims, telling TMZ they are false and the baby shared in the post is not his.
Well, there's your lesson to not believe everything you see on social media then eh?
