People are flooding to social media to weigh in after JoJo Siwa paused her performance at NYC Pride concert to curse at people who booed her.

On Saturday (June 29) the former Dance Moms star took to the stage at New York City's Central Park to perform in Trixie Mattel’s Pride Disco show, however, she ended up being booed by some members of the audience.

Siwa's performance - which was also part of Mattel's Solid Pink Disco Pride Tour - saw the 21-year-old sing tunes such as 'Karma' and 'Boomerang'.

However, she decided to stop her performance after hearing several boos erupt from the crowd.

A video posted to TikTok by @emilyxinfinity shows Siwa up on stage, pausing the show to question: "Who the living f**k just booed me?"

The singer then walks further downstage to peer out into the audience further, adding: "Where the f**k did that come from? Which one of you? Which one of you? Respectfully, f**k you."

The TikToker's caption reads: "I cannot stop thinking about the three little girls in karma face paint and their mom who went up to the barricade right before she went on and what conversations might be going on right now."

And it's not taken long for others to weigh in too.

One TikToker said: "This feels like some descendants disney movie type villain act."

"This was a hard watch," another added.

A third commented: "This reminds me of when your parents allowed you to curse for the first time."

And a fourth penned: "I mean she did say she is not really kid friendly anymore."

Indeed, earlier this year Siwa addressed her change up in appearance and style. In an interview with E! News she said it was 'fun' to be moving into her more adult era, but noted she has been 'criticized for sure'.

"People are afraid of thing they don't know, things can be scary for people, new things can be very, very scary," she added.

Thankfully, Siwa's sweary reaction to being booed at the NYC Pride event didn't last long and the clip later showed a bouquet of flowers finding its way on stage - with Siwa grabbing them, picking one stem out and tucking it in her pants.

Oh, and she later added: "F**k the booers, somebody just chucked a bra at me."

UNILAD has contacted JoJo Siwa's representatives for comment.
