Christmas is here and that only means one thing - Christmas songs.
Whether you're prone to a bit of Michael Bublé, or have hit 80s tracks like 'Last Christmas', 'Fairytale of New York' and 'Mistletoe and Wine' on repeat, I think we can all agree we each have a festive favorite.
Many of these often end up cropping back up in the charts when Christmas is around the corner, and we all know Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' will always make an appearance.
Carey released the song waaay back in 1994 and, nearly 30 years on, the songstress is still raking in the cash for the track that she was initially reluctant to do.

The 54-year-old had only released two albums before releasing the Christmas song, and she feared it was too early in her music career to make one.
"I felt like it was too soon," Carey said on The Bobby Bones Show in 2021.
"Growing up, people always did that later on, you know what I mean?"
But because of her love of Christmas, the singer decided to give it a go - and the rest was history.

A study conducted by expert social casino site Hello Millions analyzed Spotify streams to establish which festive songs have raked in the most money.
And the track is estimated to have made Carey more than $5.3 million ($5,397,920.53, to be precise) on the music streamer.

It's has been played more than a billion times and has since been hailed as the platform's most profitable Christmas song.
It's reported that singers make an average of $0.0035 per stream on Spotify.
The study also found that Wham's 'Last Christmas' came in second place, and has made the band $4.5 million.
Ariana Grande's 'Santa Tell Me' came in third, with the 30-year-old songstress having raked in an estimated revenue of $3 million from the 2014 track.

Not too shabby.
Away from Spotify (which was created 12 years after the release of 'All I Want For Christmas'), Carey has raked in millions from the song elsewhere - and her wealth increases each year.
According to The Economist's data team, the singer earns approximately $2.5 million each year from the song.

The study, which was published in 2017, also suggested that in 2016, Mariah had earned a total of $60 million for the track since it was first released.
This means - as of last year - Carey had made around $87 million for that one song.
All I want for Christmas is to have that amount of money, please.
