Taylor Swift fans have defended the singer after she was seen wiping snot with her bare hands in a viral video.
There is no doubt that the 'Blank Space' singer is on top of the world right now.

But with so much success comes an awful lot of attention, and that's before you even mention the singer's relationship with Travis Kelce.
Swift's most recent tour stop was in Edinburgh, Scotland, as she performed all of her biggest hits in the Scottish capital.
A video posted from the perspective of a fan from the crowd captured the 'Bad Blood' singer wiping her nose as she braved the cold UK summer on-stage.
The short clip showed Swift lowering her hand near her sparkly mini-skirt, with snot visible on her fingers.

Much of the internet has come out and defended Swift though, as many fans dub the action as 'human'.
"What is the problem here? Shows that she’s human just like everyone when they don’t have access to a Kleenex," one person penned on social media.
"This is so relatable, why are people judging," a second added, while a third remarked: "So ppl are bullying Taylor today for *checks notes* wiping away boogers? It’s giving obsessed but okay."

During her recent Edinburgh show, Swift paused the music to make way for a heartwarming surprise proposal.
As one of her songs drew to a close, Swift took a moment to address the crowd.
"I love performing this entire show in the sunlight, because I'm pretty sure I just saw somebody getting engaged over here," she said.
Swift then pointed over to the area in the crowd, adding: "Did it happen?"

Seemingly having gotten confirmation from the couple or crowds around them, the singer looked ecstatic.
She continued: "You have no idea. I never get to see that cos it's like dark usually at night, but it's not right now, so congratulations!
"I saw that whole thing. Man that's amazing. Thanks for doing that at my concert, that's a big moment, huge."

The surprise proposal took place as the star sung 'Cardigan'.
And many flocked to social media to praise Swift's response and to congratulate the happy couple.
"I’m just trying to imagine getting engaged and Taylor Swift being one of the very first people to celebrate with me and congratulate me. That would be so surreal," one person commented on X.
