A little more than a decade ago you'd never think to make a connection between Barbra Streisand and duck sauce - unless you just so happened to be at a Chinese restaurant with the singer - but in 2010 that all changed.
That was the year Duck Sauce - the electronic duo, not the food - released their absolute banger of a tune named after the American pop star, and the two became forever entwined.
To older generations, hearing the words 'Barbra Streisand' likely still only conjure up images of the singer or perhaps encourage a little rendition of 'Papa, Can You Hear Me?'.

For those in their younger years, however, it can be pretty hard to hear her name without immediately thinking or singing 'oOooh, oooh, oOooh, oOooh - ooh'. It's hard to write, but you know the tune.
The track featured on the album Quack and earned Duck Sauce a Grammy Award nomination for the Best Dance/Electronic Recording, as well as featuring in clubs and bars across the globe.
It still gets people singing more than 10 years after its release, but what has happened to Duck Sauce since Barbra Streisand?

Well, the album which contained 'Barbra Streisand' wasn't actually released in its entirety until 2014, bringing with it a total of 13 songs including 'Big Bad Wolf', another popular track which featured a wolf howling over the bassline.
The duo that made up Duck Sauce, American DJ Armand van Helden and Canadian DJ A-Trak, did some separate work following the release of 'Barbra Streisand', with A-Trak releasing his EP Push in November 2014 before dropping a string of singles the following year.
He premiered his single 'Parallel Lines' on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio show in 2016, and in 2017 he featured on tracks by Calvin Harris and The Cool Kids.

Meanwhile, van Helden continued his career as a dance DJ and in 2020 dropped the song 'Give Me Your Loving' with Lorne.
That same year, A-Trak teased a comeback of Duck Sauce on his Twitter account and it was revealed that Duck Sauce would be reuniting to perform at Coachella.
Unfortunately, however, fans had to wait a bit longer than expected to see the DJs back in action together as the coronavirus outbreak caused the cancellation of Coachella in 2020.

Their time finally came, though, and this year Duck Sauce got the crowd moving with an appearance at Coachella 2022.
