Armie Hammer has made headlines in recent days after photos were published that appeared to show the actor working at a Cayman Islands resort.
A hotel concierge insisted that Hammer - who has been lying low since a string of sexual abuse allegations were made against him last year - was not on their staff.
However, a source has now confirmed that Hammer is in fact selling timeshares in the Caymans and that the Call Me By Your Name star is ‘working in a cubicle’ and ‘totally broke’.

Speaking to Variety, the unnamed source insisted that all other reports claiming Hammer isn’t employed by the hotel are inaccurate.
They told the outlet: “He is working at the resort and selling timeshares. He is working at a cubicle.
“The reality is he’s totally broke, and is trying to fill the days and earn money to support his family.”

The individual asked to remain anonymous and also said that before selling timeshares, Hammer managed an apartment complex in the area.
Hammer is living in the Caymans so that he can be near his ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers and their two young children.
Earlier this week, MailOnline reported that Hammer was working at Morritt’s resort in the Caymans after being spotted on the site wearing a blue polo shirt while breaking down a unit’s pricing with potential buyers.
UNILAD has approached Morritt’s Resort for comment.

In June 2021 it was reported that Hammer had checked into a treatment facility in light of the allegations made against him.
Last year, he was accused of emotional abuse, manipulation, and sexual violence by some of his previous girlfriends, some also alleged Hammer expressed cannibalistic fantasies.
The first person to speak out against the actor was his ex-girlfriend Courtney Vucekovich, who alleged Hammer said he wanted to barbecue and eat her rib while the pair were in a relationship.

Hammer later described the claims as ‘bulls**t’. In a statement to Variety at the time, he said: “I’m not responding to these bulls**t claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me.”
He added that he’d no longer be going to the Dominican Republic to shoot a movie with Jennifer Lopez because he couldn’t ‘in good conscience now leave [his] children for four months to shoot a film.’
Then, in March 2021, rape allegations were made against him. Despite denying the claims, he reportedly checked himself into a treatment facility for drug, alcohol, and sex issues.
