An actor has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing his estranged girlfriend 20 times.
Nick Pasqual is said to have broke into Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn’s Californian home at around 4.30am on May 23 and stabbed her several times.
Shehorn - who has worked on Rebel Moon, the Mean Girls remake, and Babylon - was found to have multiple slashes to her neck as well as cuts to her arms and abdomen.

The artist and special effects producer was found later on in the day by her surrogate mother, who described the bloody scene as not 'a pretty sight'.
Christine White told KTLA: "This is not the kind of thing that should happen to anybody. You don’t think this is ever going to happen to you."
"I found her and I had to go into the bedroom where it happened. That wasn’t a pretty sight."

The actor - who has appeared in Rebel Moon and How I Met Your Mother - was arrested in Texas at a US-Mexico border checkpoint.
Pasqual has since been convicted with one count of attempted murder, one count of first-degree residential burglary with person present and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend or child’s parent.
On top of that, the actor is also being accused of 'inflicting great bodily injury upon the victim under circumstances involving domestic violence'.
Pasqual will now be extradited to Los Angeles County, where he could face a maximum sentence of life in state prison if convicted.

Shehorn filed a restraining against her ex just days before the attack, in a document seen by the Daily Mail.
A GoFundMe page has since been set up to help Shehorn's family with medical bills.
The fundraiser reads: "I come to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help for someone very dear to me, my friend Allie.

"Recently, she faced a horrific and senseless act of violence – she was stabbed multiple times by her ex boyfriend. As a result, Allie is now in the hospital fighting for her life, in critical condition.
"Allie is a remarkable person, full of warmth, kindness, and love. No one deserves to endure such a traumatic experience, especially someone as compassionate and caring as Allie.
"The road to recovery will be long and arduous, but with your support, we can help ease her burden and provide the financial assistance she desperately needs."
UNILAD has contacted Nick Pasqual's representatives for a comment.
