A felon who went viral for physically attacking a judge in court has received his sentencing.
In January of this year, Deobra Redden, 31, stood in front of Las Vegas District Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus has he awaited sentencing for attempted battery charge.
But Judge Holthus was interrupted when Redden vaulted over her desk and began to attack the 62-year-old. Take a look at the horrifying moment below:
She suffered some injuries but thankfully did not need to be hospitalized. Meanwhile, a courtroom marshal was taken to hospital for treatment after he suffered a gash on his forehead and a dislocated shoulder.

The ordeal was caught on camera in courtroom footage and was widely distributed online.
A few days on from the incident, Redden had to face Judge Holthus once more as she handed him a sentence of 19 - 48 months behind bars - which the judge insisted was the same amount of time she had planned on giving him before the altercation.
But Redden went on to face additional charges following his attack on Judge Holthus and was charged with attempted murder in relation to the incident.

A grand jury brought the indictment against Redden on 8 February.
He pleaded guilty but mentally ill during his trial in September, and has now received yet another sentencing.
This time, District Court Judge Susan Johnson was the one giving the sentence on Tuesday (December 10), and ordered Redden to serve an aggregate prison term of 26 - 65 years for his January attack on Judge Holthus, 8 News Now reports.
Speaking after the sentencing, Judge Johnson said: "It was not just retaliation or an attack on Judge Holthus, it was also an attack on the judiciary."

Before being hit with the decades-long imprisonment, Redden pleaded with the judge and insisted that he's 'not an evil guy'.
"I’m not a bad person, I’m not an evil guy," he said. "I’m not making excuses for my actions, but I’m saying I’m not a bad person and I know that I did not intend to kill Mary Kay Holthus, I know I cared about her wellbeing."
Judge Holthus did not speak during the sentencing, but a statement was read on her behalf.

"He made a conscious decision to kill me and made every effort to succeed," it read. "If he had his way, he’d be facing a sentence of life without the possibility of parole for murder."
It's reported that Redden will be eligible for parole in 2050.
