Eric Trump shared what he thought was an innocent selfie on his dad's social media app just moments before appearing on Fox News, but eagle-eyed users soon noticed something very wrong with the photo.
Last week, the 38-year-old businessman appeared on a segment with Fox's Sean Hannity to discuss the recent FBI raid on his dad's Mar-a-Lago Club residence in Florida.
In the interview, he was asked if his family had CCTV footage of the search and whether they're allowed to release it to the country, to which Trump Jr said: "Absolutely, Sean. At the right time."

He went on to suggest that law enforcement wear bodycams for transparency, claiming 'that's not what happened here'.
Which is rather ironic given that just moments before his appearance on the news channel, he posted a selfie to Truth Social not realising that it showed a WiFi username and password, which appears to be for the studio he was filming from.
The blunder was picked up on Twitter, with one sharing the photo while writing: "Eric Trump posted this on Truth Social – he’s going on Hannity – I see WiFi password."

It didn't take long for people to start roasting him.
"The Very Stable Genius genes are strong in this one," quipped one, while another said, "See, the Trumps are great at keeping things secret."
Trump's lavish estate was raided on 8 August, with court documents stating that the FBI removed 11 sets of classified documents, some of which were top secret and were regarding nuclear weapons.

This was also joked about in the Twitter thread, as one person said: "See, the Trumps are great at keeping things secret. Eric didn’t tell anyone he knew the password, even though he totally knew it. He totally did. Here a picture of it to prove he knew it. That’s why dad was super great at keeping America’s super duper secret stuff safe."
And then there were those who pointed out the rather dodgy password, which wouldn't exactly take a hacking genius to figure out.
As said by the OP: "Reminds me when Trump had his Twitter hacked twice by same Dutch man – first with password: ‘yourefired’ and then ‘MAGA2020’. And these people had highly classified info!"

Following the news of the raid, legal analyst Lisa Rubin said that the former US President has possibly infringed three parts of the Espionage Act, one of which includes a lengthy prison sentence.
While appearing on The Rachel Maddow Show, Rubin said: "That puts him in the most danger as far as I know right now, is 18 U.S.C. §§ 793, that's a portion of The Espionage Act, for which each violation carries a maximum penalty of 10 years."
She added: "We're talking about real serious crimes here."
