The FBI’s former assistant director for counterintelligence has spoken out against Tucker Carlson's and his widely-watched Fox News show.
Frank Figliuzzi appeared on the Really American PAC’s ‘Talking Heads’ show, with Carlson the topic of conversation.
Fliglizzi accused the Fox News host of 'aiding and abetting' Putin, which he believes has ‘gone way beyond free speech’.

Recently, Carlson suggested that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy should be audited before the US proceeds to send further aid to the war-torn country.
Figliuzzi continued: “I took an oath of office when I became an FBI agent to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution.
“That means I was willing to risk my life for somebody like Tucker Carlson’s right to free speech.

“But Putin is committing war crimes and terrorism in Ukraine and those who aid and abet him are aiding and abetting terrorism.”
As footage of Carlson is increasingly being used by Russia’s state media, Figliuzzi said: “You’ve got to stop and say, wait a minute, this isn’t free speech anymore.
“This is now being our own people deliberately being used by an enemy against us.”
Figliuzzi’s comments come after Carlson’s Twitter account was reinstated just hours after it was announced that Elon Musk purchased the platform.

Last month, the Fox News presenter was removed from the social media site after referring to Assistant Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine, a transgender woman, as a man.
However, following Musk’s takeover, Carlson simply tweeted: “We’re back.”
Speaking about Musk’s acquisition of Twitter on Monday’s episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight, he said: "The reason that today's sale of Twitter is big news—the reason it could turn out to be a pivot point in our history—is that Elon Musk does not agree with the rest of the billionaires in the tech business. He thinks everyone should be allowed to talk. Including people who disagree with him."

Carlson's words come after news of his latest documentary, entitled ‘The End of Men’, which is set to be released as part of the upcoming series of Tucker Carlson Originals.
The content of the film has been described by Carlson as ‘one of the biggest stories of our lifetimes … the total collapse of testosterone levels in American men’.
“We think it is a huge deal. So we want to know what’s causing it and what you can do about it,” he said.
