Chick-fil-A is reportedly looking into developing its own streaming platform.
The fast-food chain operates over 3,000 restaurants in the United States and is seemingly looking into entering the entertainment space and procuring its own original content.

As per Deadline, Chick-fil-A has already been working with a pool of production companies, including studios, to begin creating family-friendly shows with an interest in unscripted formats (like reality game shows).
They are also in talks to license and acquire already-existing content, including an in-the-works family-friendly game show from Glassman Media (the company behind NBC's The Wall).
According to Deadline, the unnamed show has already been handed a ten-episode order.

Moreover, there are also talks of the fast-food joint looking into scripted projects and animated work.
Deadline's sources say the plan is to launch later this year and that Brian Gibson, who worked on History's Top Gear and Fox's iteration of The X Factor, is leading the efforts and is in talks with various producers.
While it seems bizarre that a restaurant exclusively known for its fried chicken sandwiches is looking into getting into the entertainment industry, Chick-fil-A is not the only company making this move.

Popular ride-hailing app, Lyft, has also began producing its own shows including Lucky Lyft, a trivia game show hosted by Bob The Drag Queen who won the eighth season of RuPaul's Drag Race.
Chick-fil-A has notably been making content for its own site for some time, including Stories of Evergreen Hills which was a series of short, animated films. The fast-food chain has also been making children's puzzles and games via its Pennycake brand.
Naturally however, people online are incredibly confused by this alleged move and have been meme-ing it to no end.

"Me watching the spicy chicken sandwich movie on chick-fil-a+," one user on Twitter wrote atop a still of Mad Men's Don Draper watching a movie seriously.
A second said: "Imma be so mad when I want to stream my favorite Chick-Fil-A+ show on Sunday and the app refuses to open."
Someone else asked: "Who asked for a chick fil a streaming platform bro."
Another pointedly added: "I just want my fries bro."

Me too, random Twitter user. Me too.
Chick-fil-A has yet to officially make its own statement on these future plans, but unfortunately the theories on what the platform will look like and what content it'll have are already running wild.
UNILAD has contacted Chick-fil-A for comment.
