People are flooding to social media in horror after the drinks prices at EDC Las Vegas festival were revealed.
The Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) festival took place in Las Vegas over the weekend from 17-19 May and attendees are likely feeling a little worse for wear today - if they could even afford an alcoholic drink while there that is.
The electronic dance music festival in the US is a hotspot for some of the best techno, house and dub step artists and attracts over half-a-million music lovers every year.

However, tickets for the festival certainly don't come cheap. According to Seat Geek, you can nab a spot at EDC 'for as low as $343' but the 'average price' of a ticket is a whopping '$912'.
And that's certainly not the end of the costs either. Prepare to clench your wallet in second-hand anxiety.
Prepare to be amazed if you want to wet the whistle and limber up to your full mosh pit potential with a cheeky drink of two.

Well, kiss goodbye to at least a week's - and on some drinks even a month or maybe even 'year's' - wages.
A reader of market data and macro research company MacroEdge sent in a photograph of the price list for drinks at the festival and it's a sight which needs to be seen to be believed.
Should you fancy some Grey Goose vodka, you'll be set back a jaw-dropping $975 according to the poster. It's got to mean that's the price of the bottle, opposed to just a single or double - right?!
If you fancy a Jack Daniel's whisky, it'll cost you $875 and if you fancy a six-pack of Bud Light? Well, you can wave goodbye to $140.

Oh, and if you don't even want to drink and just want a six-pack of water that'll be $90.
Unsurprisingly, it's not taken long for people to flood to social media in outrage.
One X user said: "Watched a friend of a friend pay for a 3L Perrier-Jouët at our table at XS in the Wynn a few years ago, been this way for a while. The people that spend money on this stuff without batting an eye blow my mind."

"$90 for a six pack of water is insane," another added.
A third commented: "How this can be legal?"
"I love seeing people spend my yearly rent on drinks at EDC reminds me of how poor I am," a fourth said.
However, a final wrote: "Actually decent for Vegas."
