One McDonald's drive-thru customer has called out the fact there were no $1 items on its 'dollar' menu.
The bemused woman, Anna, took to TikTok to share her frustrations with the popular fast-food chain's pricing and it has sparked a heated discussion online about all things fries, finances and inflation.
In the short clip, Anna said: "McDonald's has a $1 menu right now without a single item that costs $1." Check it out:
For anyone lucky, and old, enough to remember the glory days of the McDonald's dollar menu - before the offer was killed back in 2013 - it's certainly a piece of nostalgia I'm sure we're all missing.

And Anna is of no exception after noting in her TikTok's caption: "McDonald’s pricing is getting out of hand. How are you gonna call [sic] something a dollar [sic] menu and put $1, $2, $3 right next to that when there are no $1 items?"
"This isn't even a McDonald’s in a nice area," the woman hit out.
Ouch.
The video has since racked up more than 147.4k views on the platform with dozens rushing into the comments section to share their views on the matter.

Many also shared their own personal experience with the fast-food chain's increase in menu price, with one TikTok user writing: "I noticed that today when I went to go pick up my free app cheeseburger that was 15k pts. 10 piece nugget meal was $9!! The absolute audacity..."
A second added: "McDouble, small fry, large drink used to be around five dollars where I live. It’s now over nine."
"I stopped going when their drinks were no longer $1," hit out a third.

A fourth reminisced: "Back in my day the two cheeseburger meal was like $5."
"Man I miss the dollar menu! Always came in clutch when I had nothing but change," echoed a fifth.
Another joked: "[It's] like $1ish $2ish $3ish lol."
Others, however, pointed out that the menu in question wasn't just for food priced at a single dollar.

One TikTok user explained: "It’s not called a dollar menu. It’s $1, $2, $3 dollar menu. Not a single item over $3."
A second chimed in: "I mean they do say it’s the $1, $2, $3 dollar menu... I guess them putting $1.29 is them keeping it in the $1 range… it’s dumb though."
A final TikTok user added: "Notice how it’s the $1, $2, $3 dollar menu so they have wiggle room to increase prices further."
What do you make of it?
