A woman has shown people there's a secret $5 menu option at McDonald's and now everyone wants to try it.
Some people have been worrying that a place like McDonald's isn't immune from price rises, and as they feel the financial squeeze, that simple joy of nuggets and fries is no longer affordable.
There have been some customers complaining that the dollar menu contains no items which cost just a dollar and, of course, the ice cream machines are often broken - though now we know the reason why.

So if there's a good cheap meal deal at McDonald's, you'd better believe that people would be all over it.
Now might be a good time to mention that a New York woman has been showing that there's a really great combo meal you can get for just $5, but you'd never know about it by looking at the menu.
TikToker ,@becomin_a_saint, posted a video of herself going through a drive-thru and ordering something called the '$5 meal' and being asked whether she wanted a double cheeseburger or a McChicken.

So far, so good, but then the person on the other end of the intercom at McDonald's asked her what sauce she wanted for her nuggets, and it was clear that we were being welcomed into something special.
Getting a double cheeseburger and McNuggets as part of a meal for $5 sounds like a pretty good deal, and when the woman made it home, she revealed exactly what she'd bought for her money.
It turns out that for $5 you can buy one of a double cheeseburger or a McChicken along with four McNuggets, a portion of small fries and a drink.
That sounds pretty dang good for five bucks and plenty of others thought so as her video was soon inundated with comments showing interest in the combo meal.

One person said that just buying a double cheeseburger in their local McDonald's was '$4.89 before tax', so they were definitely feeling jealous that for another 11 cents, they could be getting nuggets, fries and a drink.
Someone else in Arizona complained that their double cheeseburger cost $5.69, while a Texan rode into the conversation to casually drop that theirs was only $2.99.
Another commenter said the deal could show up 'on the McDonald's app', but that 'different location areas have different deals' so you could be one of the unlucky souls in an area that doesn't do this deal.

And some Californians dropped into the comments to say that a meal deal like that in their state would probably cost $10.
While Wendy's fans also pointed out that it's quite like their 'biggie bag' deal.
