Former bunny Jenny McCarthy denies orgies taking place in Playboy Mansion

Actress and former playmate Jenny McCarthy said that 'no orgies' occurred when she was at the Playboy Mansion.

Actress and former playmate Jenny McCarthy said that 'no orgies' occurred when she was at the Playboy Mansion.

McCarthy was the playmate of the year in 1994 and likened her experience of the infamous mansion to 'catholic school'.

The news comes as Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt, former girlfriends of Hugh Hefner, took part in the Secrets of Playboy docu-series and shared shocking revelations about their time at the mansion.

Speaking to Zack Peter on his #NoFilter podcast, McCarthy explained that her experience was different from that portrayed in the documentary.

"They asked me to host that show [Secrets of Playboy]. They wanted me to really be involved and be an executive producer and be in it. Numerous times."

However, despite the fact that she 'loved' the production company behind the series, she declined to take part.

She explained: "I didn't have the same experiences [as the women in the documentary]. So I wasn't going to sign up for a paycheque and be salacious. I didn't experience those things."

During the documentary, former playmates claim that frequent orgies took place at the mansion, and alleged that women were given Quaaludes, which Hefner nicknamed 'thigh openers'.

But, McCarthy said: "Hearing their stories, my heart broke for a lot of these women. I'm so grateful that when I was there, Hef was married and it [the mansion] was kind of run like a strict dormitory.

She explained that Hefner was married at the time to Kimberley Conrad.

"We weren't even allowed near Hef or round the house, it was almost like Catholic school, to be honest. There were no orgies, or big parties going on."

McCarthy went on to say that she thinks she was there during a 'window of time when it was kind of safe'.

When asked about the different experiences of women in the house, McCarthy said: "Well think about this, I have three sisters and when I'm publicly telling my stories of childhood, someone will call me and say, 'What house were you living in?' Because each one of them has their own, whole point of view and perceptions. It's almost like we were in different households."

She went on to add: "Everyone has a different story and outline of their life. That's the analogy I would use with Playmates. Yeah, we were all in the same house, but we didn't experience the same s**t."
